I did it! After five long, unforgettable, sleepless and amazing years I can officially say I am a Stony Brook University alumni. Although I made the typical four years of college into a five-year plan, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I entered Stony Brook as a freshman determined to become a physical therapist and I am now leaving with the hopes and dreams of joining the fashion industry. Complete opposites, I know. Some might argue that I just wasted five years of my life majoring in a degree that I will not pursue but throughout those five years at school I have not only made some of the most treasured memories in my life but I have also learned to follow your heart and do what makes you happy.
My incredible experience with CollegeFashionista started exactly one year ago. I am forever grateful for the opportunities that came along with this internship; one of my favorites was the eBay collaboration! I can thank CollegeFashionista for helping with both my communication and photography skills. I love how I was able to get to know a little piece of information from every Fashionista/o I encountered. The best part of this internship was that it was fun and something I truly enjoyed and looked forward to every week!
Now that I am graduated, I plan on taking some time to travel and start a blog of my own. CollegeFashionista has inspired me to realize that blogging is perfect for me, I love expressing my thoughts and opinions on the styles and trends I love, so keep your eyes out! After a few months and seeing a few different countries, I will continue my focus on landing a job in Manhattan!
