Wow. College is almost over and I can’t believe it. Time has flown by, but I will always have the most amazing memories to cherish forever from my college experience. I have met my best friends, amazing professors and worked with inspirational people along the way that have shaped me and helped me become the person I have always dreamed of being. Going to Texas Christian University is by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. I will be part of the horned frog family for life! Go Frogs!
I’ve been on the CollegeFashionista team for only one semester and I’m sad that it’s almost over! Before working as a Style Guru, I honestly didn’t know too much about fashion or anything related to it. My inspiration came from seeing things other people wore and trying to figure out how to make something similar work for me from what I had. This experience with CollegeFashionista has taught me so much about my own personal style, what people are rocking not only on my campus but on other campuses as well and how pieces of clothing can be so versatile for so many different occasions. I loved being able to see what people all over the US and the world would wear to class, on date nights, etc. because what’s typical here isn’t necessarily what is typical somewhere else. It’s so neat to get tips from Fashionistas/os from all over the world!
After I graduate, I want to jump right into doing more photography. It’s my biggest passion and I love what I do. I love street photography, food photography, commercial photography, etc., but my biggest love is concert photography. The experience you get from being at a concert and capturing the moments where artists come to life and do what sets them free is one of the most amazing feelings in the world. I light up just thinking about it! I’m so grateful for my experiences thus far and I’m ready to jump right in to the real world. Wish me luck!
