As I’m sitting down to write my third bio for CollegeFashionista, I can’t help but reflect on the experience I’ve had as a Style Guru for the past two semesters. Not only have a gained a greater appreciation for Madison style, but I’ve also gained interest in wardrobes that differ from my own. I have also had the chance to dabble in men’s fashion, something that I was generally unfamiliar with until last semester. Overall, my time with CollegeFashionista has provided me with a vast knowledge of street style, along with blogging exposure that is not typically plausible elsewhere.
Going into my final semester at University of Wisconsin, I look forward to taking an extra few minutes daily to observe the Madison aesthetic. The city brings together a combination of people at different walks of life to create a vibe that is not found elsewhere. With plans of moving to the East Coast in the summer to pursue a career in the industry, I know it is important to always remember where I came from. I believe there is something significant about your roots when it comes to style inspiration, something that will never disappear no matter how far away you go.
With that being said, I am excited to be writing the WHAT TO WEAR column for the spring semester. I will be telling you everything you need to know about dressing for certain occasions in the beloved city of Badgers. Whether it is Jumping Around or a trip to Memorial, there is always something fashionable to offer.
