I caught up with this Fashionista on campus and she was flattered by the never ending compliments she got because of those gorgeous pants. We talked about school and all things fashion. Being in the arts industry, she sure does face the pressures of dressing well for her image. CollegeFashionista: What inspired your outfit today?
Dannika Bonser: It's assignment week now in uni and I think I definitely choose comfort over everyting (laughs). Nothing much inspired my outfit today but I love feeling good and looking good. Most of the time the 'geek chick' look would perhaps inspire my outfits as well.
CF: How do you usually pick an outfit?
DB: I think I tend to go with my moods. I mostly love staples and basics and I'll accessorise up, and just finish the outfit with my geeky black frames or an outstanding piece like my pants.
CF: What are some of your favourite labels and why?
DB: I don't have any particular ones. I think ASOS and the Iconic would be my favourites. It's online and I mean pretty much every single style or trend can be found online at afforable prices, it's awesome.
CF: So whom do you get inspirations from on a daily basis in terms of fashion?
DB: Emma Stone because she's so adorable and her outfits look so casual and effortless. Alexa Chung is my definite 'it' girl as well cause I think my style is pretty similar to hers. It's all about being preppy, classy and smart all at once.
CF: What would be your favourite trend right now?
DB: Digital prints without a doubt. I see so many people on the streets. Even peers in school, everyone's into the whole galaxy and universe prints as well. It's pretty cool, I must say.
CF: Finally, any style or fashion tips you'd want to share?
DB: Be yourself and I think confidence is your best makeup and outfit.
