The best thing about lace is that it can be dressed down for a day out on the town or it can give an LBD a much needed oomph. This Fashionista knew how to take her lace to the streets- she added broken-in , soft leather brown Frye boots and Free People black shorts to accompany her lace top around town. Sophia Baldwin: I love Grace Kelly and Kate Moss. I try to embody Kate’s edge and Grace’s elegance. I love to think that I am always putting a little “Grace” and “Kate” into my outfits.
CF: If you had to describe your style in three words what would they be?
SB: Relaxed, Classic, and Fun.
CF: Where do you like to shop?
SB: I love to shop at Zara. I spent a year in Spain and everyone there shops. I would definitely have to say that my host mother was a great style influencer and we used to shop at Zara all the time! I also love Madewell and Free People for their casual city style.
CF: What is your fashion philosophy?
SB: Never buy anything unless you are absolutely in love with it!
How To: Colored lace is a great trend, so don’t be afraid to hop on the bandwagon. Try a forest green blouse and pair it with pretty cream scalloped shorts. When looking for a bag, remember Grace Kelly and go for something elegant and sophisticated. Add some street cred with beat up motorcycle boots and a studded leather cuff.
