College Fashionista: Describe your personal style on campus.
Tayler Marquess: Pretty casual, almost hipster-like. I wear my Converse shoes a lot because they don’t make my feet hurt when walking to class, and they’re close toed so they keep my feet warm when it’s cold out.
CF: What stores do you mostly find yourself shopping at?
TM: Probably Urban Outfitters or Nordstrom. I like the junior section in Nordstrom called BP.
CF: What is your favorite go-to item in your closet?
TM: I would have to say my headbands. I usually always wear them. I also always wear my Ray-Ban wayfarer glasses. People think they’re fake, but they’re actually my real glasses.
How To: To take this darling look from day to night, put your headband aside and swoop those gorgeous locks into a sleek top not and replace the sneaks for some black pumps. If your night out isn’t denim friendly, replace your jeans with a pair of black skinnies. (P.S. If your hometown has a Nordstrom Rack or Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, I recommend going to one of these places for the best designer deals on denim. I haven’t bought a pair of jeans for full price in years thanks to these discount heavens).
