In the history of the University of Missouri-Columbia, there have been eight snow days on record. We’ve been a part of two in the past weeks. With the crazy winter storm “Q” hitting us a few days ago and winter storm Rocky coming in, it’s time for everyone to bundle up. If you don’t already have one, make a warm winter coat the top priority on your list. I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with winter coats in the past. They always make me feel like an exploding marshmallow with their layers of puffy warmth and I never feel glamorous.
This Fashionista has revitalized my views on coats. Although she was just casually running errands, I did a double take to make sure she wasn’t a supermodel. Never in my life have I seen such a chic or slim fitting coat.
Steal this runway style by wearing whatever your heart desires! Go casual or make it fancy, but you just need a statement coat. I prefer this long length because it’s warm, but it also contours your body to look taller and thinner. If you want something with a little dimension that’s not a solid color, I’m obsessed with this one. Take a hint from this Fashionista and add some killer boots to complete the look. If it’s freezing, add a fun colored scarf and gloves. It’s safe to say that people will be stopping you endlessly asking you where in the world that gorgeous coat is from.
