As temperatures drop, and layers rise, Fashionistas and Fashionistos around campus are bringing out some great pieces for chilly weather. When I saw this Fashionista in her awesome chunky cardigan and edgy cheetah booties, I knew I had to ask her more about her style. Paired with simple charcoal leggings, which had a unique seam down the back of the leg, and a basic T-shirt, this Fashionista rocked the silhouette of her slouchy sweater and amped up her look with some great sunglasses and jewelry.
Name: Caroline Green

Major: Corporate Communication
College Fashionista: Who's your favorite designer?
Caroline Green: My favorite designer is probably YSL. The prints and the bold colors are amazing. I think the pieces are elegant and chic, yet can be worn by a wide variety of ages. I also think their logo is super major.
CF: Where's your favorite place to shop?
CG: I love to shop anywhere really. If I find a piece I will buy it, regardless of where it's from. I love to shop at H&M, Topshop and I have great pieces from ShopBop as well.
CF: What's your favorite piece in your closet?
CG: My favorite item in my closet is either my Louis Vuitton duffle bag or my riding boots I found on a whim that are authentic and from England. I've seen Kate Middleton wear them so they totally boost my ego. I think a good pair of boots or good bag is probably my favorite thing to find.
CF: Who's your celebrity style icon?
CG: Kourtney Kardashian, Nicole Richie and Olivia Palermo have the most amazing style ever. It's fun to see what socialites are wearing. I try to incorporate a lot of different looks into my daily style.
How To: To replicate this look, find a comfortable sweater for fall. Not only is it totally practical, but it can be paired with leggings or pants. Also, buy one size up to add a slouchy look to your outfit, which makes it super cool then mix in some edgy shoes or accessories. Next, look for a pair of awesome short boots with some sort of pattern or print. Animal print is a go-to, but other prints and colors can be fun, too. Finally, look for bold rings, bracelets and nail color to polish off a slouchy, yet chic look.
