As much as I love wearing sandals and flip flops, shoes are one of my favorite parts of my fall wardrobe. I personally have a shoe addiction but from what I’ve seen, as do the rest of the girls on the Marist campus. This week’s Fashionista has a simple fall look featuring a lot of warm colors, but it's pulled together with a great pair of fold over combat boots. Her look consists of a fall-inspired tribal shirt, dark washed jeans and a grey faux leather jacket. There are many different Fashionistas at Marist but I love it when someone has their own personal style and it catches my attention.

College Fashionista: Where do you get your style inspiration?
Katie DiBella: Everything, and I like colors. If there's a bright color that I like then I incorporate it.
CF: What's your favorite way to accessorize an outfit?
KD: Shoes. My favorite thing in the world is shoes.
CF: Where's your favorite place to buy shoes?
KD: Macy’s because they have every single brand and an awesome clearance rack.
CF: Is that where you got the pair you’re wearing?
KD: No, I got them from a website called Make Me Chic on Black Friday!
CF: How do you transition an outfit from fall to winter?
KD: Sweaters. I love sweaters because you could put a tank top under it and it can go with everything. Also I transition with my faux leather jacket that I’m wearing today.
CF: Do you have any celebrities that influence your style?
KD: I love Rachel Mcadams, she’s awesome and Natalie Portman. They always look beautiful.
How To: Do you want this Fashionista’s autumn inspired look? Match a tribal high-low top in a warm color palette with a pair of dark washed jeans and a skinny belt. Next add a nontraditional colored leather jacket. Finally add a pair of killer fold-over combat boots to complete the look.
