BEAUTY BAR: The Sun Will Come Out Today

Rain, rain and look, more rain! It can be extremely difficult to get dolled up for class on such a gross day. At times it can be downright impossible to even roll out of your extra warm comforter. Fear not ladies! There is in fact a way to conquer your damp depression and this Fashionista was so kind to show off a few of her tricks today. Now this lady sure made the sun come out a little earlier than expected with some gold shimmery eye shadow, a sequential jumpsuit and multicolored animal print nails ought to get you out of your rainy day gloom.

Whether you decide to do a full face of makeup or just some lip liner and eye shadow, shimmery tones help your face look a little more alert on those moist days. What I enjoyed most about this Fashionista’s makeup is how natural it looks. Although a red lip would have also worked well for this, pink and magenta tones are certainly making their mark this summer. The effortless makeup look is definitely becoming more popular and is highly recommended for the college chicka that wants to hold onto her youthful look.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: Putting together this look shouldn’t take too much energy out of you. Jumpsuits are popping up a lot more frequently on your favorite shopping sites like this Fashionista would definitely support the Charlotte Russe collection, while I lean towards New York and Company for a more formal look. The less time on your nails the better so head over to Sephora and peep their nail stickers to achieve that cheetah print sequence! And last but not least the makeup where you should head to your local Walgreens and pick up the Nudes palette by Maybelline. For a little more shimmer, L.A. Colors has always been my go-to brand for a reasonable price while Walgreens is the more affordable choice. I recommend a nice matte lipstick from MAC which will help you achieve that effortless lip since it has the vibrant flesh tones without too much gloss.
