BEAUTY BAR: The Classic Red Lip

Hello, everyone! Here are some beauty secrets that I would like to share with you all. I like to switch up my makeup products with different lip colors, but I narrowed down my current favorite to this pretty classic red lip color. This time of the year, dark colors are attractive. If you’re into dark colors, like me, try to wear all-black with a contrasting lip color.

Rather than adding different colors to match with your outfit, why not wear a dark lipstick to enhance your look? Lipstick is an easy way to give spunk to any outfit, which is what this Fashionista did by adding a red lip to her black ensemble. There are so many bright and deep colors to choose from, such as red, pink and maroon. This Fashionista is also wearing a full coverage foundation to smooth out any imperfections.

I was frightened to wear dark lipstick when I first started wearing makeup, but once you receive a few compliments, you’ll enjoy applying different colors every day. It also helps to learn which lip color suits you the most. Don’t forget to apply lip liner, which needs to be a shade that’s similar to your lipstick, in order to outline your lips. Lip liner does wonders because it stays on your lips much longer as compared to just wearing a lipstick.

This Fashionista decided to go with straight hair, which doesn’t require a lot of work. This short hairstyle is giving her a stylish and cute look. I recently tried this look on my hair and absolutely loved it. To complement her hair, she wore a black top, along with dark jeans that give off a casual look along with flat shoes. The overall look is casual with the bright lip color, but her hair still stand out.

In addition, skincare is so important because it’s the only skin we have, so why not take care of yourself and enjoy the benefits? I’m a little obsessed with roses, and this Mario Badescu rose facial spray is very refreshing, especially on sticky days. It’s also great for a quick hydration fix before applying your makeup. Plus, I got it for less than $10!

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To get this bold makeup look, smudge MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15  all over your face. Then, bust out the Urban Decay Naked Eye Shadow palette and start applying one of these shades on your eyes. I like to go with lighter, depending on my outfit. Apply medium color above the eye shadow on your eyelids, such as Sim or Naked from the palette. The last step is to apply Virgin (light cream) under your eyebrows. It should help you blend all three colors together. At the end, apply an eyeliner Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner close to your eyes. Now, you’re done with this beautiful and bold look.
