BEAUTY BAR: The Cat And The Stone

I was inspired by this Fashionista’s look because of her cat eyes, nude lipstick and classic black and white color pairing. She also was accessorizing with a pastel blue backpack that will be huge when school starts back up for the Tommie’s again.

Currently the nude lip is always ‘in’ but this Fashionista takes a twist on it with a matte lipstick called stone. I looked up the lipstick to buy it for myself, but it is all sold out until fall. So I’ve attached the link to the website where there are similarly great colors. A nude lip can be paired with a strong eye, great blush or those fabulous fake eyeglasses you’ve been dying to try (though not fake for this Fashionista).

In this case the cat eye was used and perfected. She said she has been doing the cat eye since middle school. Meaning it takes practice to get those lines nice and neat. When trying to achieve this look make sure you have eyeliner with a nice brush head. I personally like the ones that do not detach like nail polish.

Speaking of nail polish, this Fashionista takes a twist on your typical pinks and purples for summer. She is wearing a dark polish on her toes that will go well with any of her simple looks for the end of summer and the welcoming of fall.

Her hair is natural and simple. I think the fashion world says a lot about embracing what you have and flaunting it. She has a slight ombré of red with a natural beach wave to top off her look.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To achieve this look completely, get out your nude lipstick, fierce brow pen and dark eyeliner to create a cat eye. Accessorize with simple jewelry, a killer bag and a sophisticated nail-polish.
