BEAUTY BAR: Spring Makeup

Spring is right around the corner, and a good way to start it off is with a nice makeup look. This Fashionista attends New York City College of Technology, and she is studying nursing. Although she is studying nursing, she is also interested in cosmetology such as hair and makeup. I see her around campus a lot, and I realized that she does her makeup very well. One day I saw her with this beautiful spring makeup look, and I asked to take a few photos. She is wearing a nice warm and calm pinkish nude eye shadow from E.L.F ‘s Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette and Smashbox the Full Exposure Palette. She is wearing Mary Kay Foundation and L.A. girl pro concealer. To fill in her eyebrows, she used the Anastasia Beverly Hill dip brow. For highlight she used Global glow from MAC which gave her an amazing glow on her cheekbones and to finish it off, she decided to wear bright purple lipstick from MAC called Heroine.

I think this is a nice look for spring because it’s simple but a little edgy. The bright lipstick gives the look a nice finishing touch because it stands out and it gives her face some color since she used nude eye shadow colors for her eyelids. This look can be worn on a girls’ night out or if you’re wearing an all-white outfit and want to give your look some spice. In the photos above the Fashionista is wearing  a floral blazer, navy blue top, black pencil skirt and light pink shoes. This outfit is perfect for the spring time and it also compliment her makeup.

Overall this spring makeup look is unique and simple, which is great because a lot of females hate doing makeup looks that are too complex. If you’re a female that does not wear makeup all the time and wants to try something easy, this look is perfect for you. You don’t have to do it the same way she did her makeup, you can get nude eye shadow shades that fit your skin tone and complement it with a nude lipstick if your a person who is not interested in bright colors.
