BEAUTY BAR: Simply Made

A fresh face will never go out of style, but as of right now, it is gaining a lot of momentum in the fashion world. Designers like Gucci, Thierry Mugler, Balmain, Pucci, Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Christopher Kane and Jason Wu have showcased the barefaced, minimal makeup look on the runway. Low, relaxed ponytails have also been a reoccuring trend on the runway. Gucci and Jason Wu models were styled with both minimal makeup and low ponys. The combination gives off a soft, feminine vibe that looks pure and beautiful.

I spotted this Fashionista walking down Michigan Avenue wearing this totally cute outfit and perfectly styled hair and makeup to accompany it. She was rocking the fresh-faced, low pony beauty look that went perfectly with her minimal yet fashionable outfit. I have never been a big denim skirt fan, but this Fashionista made me want to offer her 20 bucks to take the one she was wearing. I have never been so into a denim skirt until I saw her. This Fashionista changed me.

The makeup was an instant hit for me. This fresh-faced beauty trend is killer in my book. What girl wouldn’t want to have a simple makeup routine that still kicks butt? I love it! Even the hair is so simple, yet so chic. Who would have thought? A little really does go a long way. Keeping it simple has proved to be very effective.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: For the finishing touch to this look, you will need a nude lipstick, a tinted moisturizer, black eyeliner and black mascara. It is a simple routine for a simple look.
