BEAUTY BAR: Natural Blondie Locks

It’s so important, during these hot summer months, to keep yourself safe from the harsh summer rays. There’s such a thin line between that perfect bronzed tan and that stingy red sunburn. But, what if the sun can do more than just color your skin? It can! The sun can do so much more for you than giving you that skin tone you’ve been dreaming of, it can also bring your hair to a whole new shade.

Originally, I stopped this Fashionista because of her multicolored shorts, but then I noticed her gorgeous blonde locks and we got to talking. Her hair is naturally blonde, but a much darker color. The powerful sun lightens her hair naturally each summer starting in early June. It’s the best of both worlds; you get your natural hair year round. The natural rays lighten your hair during these warmers months and give you that change and different look you crave after the school year comes to a close.

She had a complete natural look when I spotted her early morning down by the beach. She had on a plain solid tank top, with trendy multicolored blue tie dye shorts. She styled them perfectly for the morning breeze with a summer cardigan. She wore comfortable black flip flops and, of course, every girl’s summer best friend, her sunglasses. She also accessorized with two thin chained necklaces. This Fashionista is a great example of the laid back, makeup less and beautiful summer look!

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? Creating this look naturally can be done by just laying out to tan and allowing the sun to do all of the work. But, if you’re looking for a more speedy way to get this look then try adding natural lemon into your hair. Buy a lemon from the grocery store and cut it and squeeze out the lemon juice in to a bowl or directly on to your head (be sure to watch out for the seeds). The lemon is a natural lightener and creates gorgeous blonde locks.
