As summer is coming to an end, I’m looking forward to the wonders of fall, the fluttering leaves and even dirt crumbs crawling up my sleeves! You might say that’s gross, but hey! Without the changing of seasons, we’d be too jaded to adore junipers as well as the autumn decor and the plump pumpkins sitting on porches outdoors. Festivities and decorations might just be taken for granted—we’d pass by them without a second glance—and what a shame it’d be if we failed to appreciate the lovely aesthetics and holiday cheer.
With the chilly autumn wind ahead, a zippered black blazer with a cozy sweater underneath is the epitome of a comfy, spunky and fun layered outfit. Keeping the colors neutral is a gorgeous complement and contrast to such a beautiful, colorful season.
This Fashionista’s gray knit cardigan and necklace exhibits warmth while the blazer has a cooler composition. It’s all about balancing out contrasting aspects—here, seriousness and playfulness are in harmony with one another. Her frilly top makes her seem amiable, while the blazer makes her seem respectable and professional. Paired together, she is dressing the part of someone who people can rely on and have a good time with.
Her black leggings are sleek with lines running down the sides. They can almost pass off as pants but without the discomfort of wearing rougher material. Her black bow ballet flats are girly, gentle and sophisticated like a ballerina’s shoes—an elegant finish to her attire.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: This Fashionista used Estee Lauder’s Tient Idole foundation, followed up with Sephora’s Advanced Airbrush Set for a natural complexion. She used Elf’s eyebrow kit to create the simple and put-together eyebrow look. For her eyeshadow look, she used Stila’s In The Light Palette. Her winged cat eye look was accomplished through Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner for the top lid and Milani’s Infinite Liquid Eyeliner was used as the bottom liner. She used Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray to finish up the look and set everything in place. Simply beautiful!
