BEAUTY BAR: Makeup Shape Up

Oscar de la Renta once said, “A woman makes an outfit with her own accessories.”

Everyone knows that you always accompany outfits with accessories and create the entire look you are going for. Jewelry, light cardigans, cute shoes, everything. However, something that most people don’t consider an accessory is makeup. Makeup sets the entire tone of the look that you’re going for. During the day, you can set your makeup to a lighter tone, and at night, you can set your makeup for a darker, more smokey eye look.

This Fashionista wore a simple and cute outfit. She set the tone for a day look by putting on her foundation a little lighter than usual. She used the Sephora foundation set for her base and put a good amount of light pink blush. The way she did her makeup complemented the day look and she does a great job with not going to far. Then she applied a smokey eye using a Urban Decay Naked palette for her eyes since she has brown eyes. If you have brown eyes, light smokey is the way to go to make your eyes pop. She also accompanied her outfit with a cute necklace, Tory Burch flat sandals and a Michael Kors gold watch.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: This look is super simple to recreate. You don’t even need the same brands that she used! You can use any type of foundation that suits your skin best, brown eyeshadow on the outer eyelid and a lighter color (maybe gold) on the inner eyelid, eyeliner on the bottom and mascara on the top and bottom! For a day look, you can use a nude or light pink shade.
