BEAUTY BAR: Lookin’ Sharp In A Dramatic Winged Eye

Fall and winter always scream for dramatic makeup looks. Whether you go with a dark pouty lip or a daytime smoky eye, the cooler months always compliment more daring day looks. This Fashionista was rocking a fierce winged eyeliner look, something that I have yet to master myself. She paired it with a great, eye-catching bright red lip which stands out from her all black ensemble. Although this Fashionista said this type of look wasn’t her everyday style, she admits to trying bolder outfits and makeup when the time calls for it.

Winged eyeliner is such a classic way to amp up your typical makeup routine as well, and no matter if you do a signature bold wing like shown here, a double wing or a small cat eye, it’s hard to go wrong with this look. To achieve this perfectly sharp wing, this Fashionista used her Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner and finished off the rest of her eye makeup with Benefit’s They’re Real lengthening mascara in jet black. For her lipstick, she chose her favorite bright red matte lipstick.

Pairing the bold look with a casual edgy look and minimal accessories, the outfit lets the makeup be the star. This outfit is the epitome of the ‘cool girl’ look from the moto jacket to the slitted cotton dress, and you can’t help but admire this daring Fashionista’s sense of style. The style also works perfectly for the Southern California weather as we head into our colder months, with the jacket being a simple add on if the temperature becomes a bit too chilly. Not only is this outfit trendy, but it looks like the perfect mix of style and comfort with some sturdy sandals and a breezy dress. Overall, this makeup look is the perfect way to incorporate a bit of edginess into your regular everyday style!
