I started to get into makeup last year because of YouTube videos and pulling inspiration from my friends’ makeup looks. I like makeup because at the end of the day it just washes off, giving you the freedom to do anything you want with it!
For this post, I photographed this Fashionista because her makeup was very unique. In these pictures this Fashionista is wearing a black velvet dress with a pentagram harness. I like this look because it looks like it is one piece but you can wear the dress with or without the harness. She is also wearing black Mary Jane flats with white socks.
This stylish Fashionista is wearing the Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo Foundation, the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Damned, Sugarpill Cosmetics eye shadow in the shade Love+, and the Inglot AMC eyeliner gel in the shade 79. This makeup look is bold and vampy. Switch it up by changing your shadow or lip color to a flattering nude shade to lighten up the mood.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To recreate this fashionistas look you have to go with a dark, bold lip that will make a statement and put your whole look together. With this type of look you will have to keep your face makeup simple so than all the attention will go towards the eyes and the lips. For the eyes and lips be sure to choose a color that is bold or dark and do a different shade of the color for your eyes and lips.
