BEAUTY BAR: Fresh Face for Spring

Spring semester is starting to get super hectic, and your days on campus, and at the library are probably getting a lot longer. You want to put on a makeup look that will last you all day, but won’t be too dramatic for your 8 a.m. class. A look that you can quickly touch up after dinner before heading out with your girls is crucial for us busy ladies; this Fashionista does it perfectly, and at an inexpensive cost!

This Fashionista begins her look with an E.l.f primer. This primer is perfect because it hides stubborn pores and it preps your face for your foundation. Paired with her primer, this Fashionista uses a Sephora liquid foundation. It is a 10 hour-wear foundation which is perfect for us college beauties because it will last us from our a.m. classes to our p.m. events. This Fashionista also uses Bare Minerals loose powder to set her liquid foundation in and help mattify some of the oilier parts of her face.

Moving on to the Fashionista’s eyes, she uses an Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil. A light fill like this is perfect for class, because it does not make the eyebrows look too overdone. To perfect her winged eyeliner, this Fashionista always relies on her Sephora eyeliner pen. A simple wing is perfect for class and it doesn’t take that much time to get done in the morning.

My favorite part about this Fashionista’s beauty look is her lips! Spring is when everything outdoors becomes alive again, we start to fall out of our winter slump, and begin to feel fresh! This light pink/nude color on this Fashionista’s lips is the perfect way to start off the spring season. To keep her lipstick lasting a little longer, this Fashionista uses a lip liner to set and bring out the color.
