BEAUTY BAR: Fit and Fresh

Sometimes, when you’re on vacation, makeup isn’t always your top priority. You’re running around, trying to see all those tourist sights and trying to put sunscreen on to avoid burning, and makeup just isn’t on the list. Spotted on Santa Monica’s Promenade, this Fashionista has the perfect beauty look that keeps you looking gorgeous and healthy without going through a long routine in the morning.

First of all, the key is to keep it light, don’t pile on the concealer and foundation. You need to put on just enough to cover red spots and blemishes. After applying this light coat of foundation try using a face powder. Powders tend to soak up the unwanted oils on our skin and sometimes even the light sweat you might work up while power shopping.

Next, you have the option to add a light, natural eye shadow, or a neutral eyeliner. This works to make your eyes pop in the simplest and easiest way. Finally, give yourself bold eyebrows. This is what helps you stand out. A bold brow, in place of a dramatic eye or full lip is more simply form of creating an interesting face. You don’t need to go heavy on the brow pencil or powder, but just enough to see the natural outline of your brow and to frame your eyes well. This look is great for vacations, or even those occasional lazy days that everyone has.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? To get this look, first go for a light foundation, and apply only to trouble spot, enough to even out your skin tone. Then use a nice face powder to even everything out. Finally finish with a bold brow to line your eye and giving that dramatic feature that turns heads (and hopefully some surfer dudes!).
