BEAUTY BAR: Fashion Justice

It’s time for spring break in Aggieland, which means it’s time for a beauty bar insider! As the weather warms up, women all around campus start to show their true beauty. When it’s cold outside we, as women, tend to use this as an excuse to cover our bodies with oversize clothing for comfort. But a true Fashionista knows how to kill the styling and beauty game whether it is summer, winter, fall, or spring.

On the campus of North Carolina A&T State University you will find that most women have their own unique style and use different items to express and accentuate their beauty. This Fashionista caught my eye, and I was immediately intrigued with her beauty look. Let me tell you how she achieved this awesome look!

Let’s start with the beauty in her face. With Maybelline foundation, burgundy e.l.f. lipstick, and e.l.f. dip-brow, this Fashionista achieved a very natural and glowing beauty look. These products really enhanced the curves of her face and gave her a soft look. I love how the pop of color is in her lip is a contrast to her all black outfit.

Now let’s talk about this long full hair. The thickness and fullness of her hair really complements her appearance, and the look that she was aiming for as she embraces her African American culture.

Last, but not least, her outfit set this beauty look all the way off by embracing her culture. She decided to rock this vintage black and white African print skirt. She added a simple black top, and her necklace pulls everything together with its great detail. We can’t forget about her shoe candy. Those shoes are hot! Who doesn’t love a pair of heels that tie around the leg, are black, and you can wear with everything?!

I hope you enjoyed this inside scoop on this Fashionista’s beauty bar. Stay tuned for the next CollegeFashionista who will be featured in my next article.
