BEAUTY BAR: Crush on Crimson

The school year is officially in full swing, meaning it’s time to bring out the plaid and berry lips. That’s exactly what this BEAUTY BAR is all about. A lot of times, people are afraid to rock a dark lip since it’s a definite way to get noticed. Makeup is a way to enhance the features that you already have so why not go ahead with that berry lipstick you’ve been eyeing?

In this look, a dark lip is paired with a subtle eye. There is not much eye shadow used; instead the focus is on eyeliner and mascara. The eyeshadow this Fashionista chose to use was the Urban Decay shadow in Sin. For lips, be sure to use a lip stain or lip liner underneath the dark color you’re wearing as it will act as insurance so that the color won’t fade throughout the day.

There are so many different dark lips to choose from in the fall. This is the time of year where new beginnings are often in tow. By branching out of your comfort zone, you may be surprised what you end up loving! This Fashionista decided to wear neutrals such as navy and brown. She made sure that her lips were the main focus point of the entire outfit. Essentially, she let her lips do the talking. The nice part about this entire look is that it can easily be transitioned into winter, with the brown boots.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To get the fall ready lip this Fashionista has, use the NYC 16-hour lip stain in 498 Berry Long Time. You can also try a lipstick, go for MAC’s Whirl. Kylie Jenner may just use this exact shade- wink, wink. Even though the emphasis was on her lips, she made sure to use the duo Lash Extension Kit from Physician’s Formula for some wispy lashes. Lastly, to add some color to the cheeks she used Tarte’s Sheer Berry Cheek Stain in Flush.
