BEAUTY BAR: Coral Crush

As much as I love a good dark lip and strong contour, it is time to lighten up your palette for spring. With the sun coming out, nothing is worse than a caked-on face of makeup—let’s ditch those heavy products and set you Fashionistas up for a fresh-faced spring. These next few months before the summer break should be filled with sparkly highlighter and coral lips, which make even the worst math classes a little more bearable.

Bright lip colors have always been a spring trend, but finding one that matches your skin tone can be tricky. This Fashionista went for a coral lip and a darker blue lid that contrasts with her ivory complexion. The look is based off of a minimalistic model-off-duty vibe, inspired by “it girls” like Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin. They achieve an effortless look by accenting one aspect, while keeping the rest of their outfit simple. This Fashionista paired a basic white T-shirt, which she tucked into her high-waisted Topshop jeans. She decided to leave the jewelry behind and opted for brushed back bangs. Pixie cuts have been all the rage in Hollywood, but it definitely takes a certain attitude to be able to pull off this bold look.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To achieve this spring trend, start by applying a BB cream with your fingers until you get your desired coverage. Next, use Magic Eraser concealer under the eye to achieve that flawless spring look and swipe BECCA Moonstone highlighter on the bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow and cheekbones. Grab a fluffy brush and sweep your bronzer lightly from your hairline, following your natural cheekbone structure. To amplify your look, add a hint of blue eyeliner and finish with your favorite coral lipstick.
