This is my last post for the semester, let’s go out with a bang! Fall is sadly coming to an end but the good news is that Christmas is here! One of my favorite trends for the winter season is a classic red lip color. It is perfect for holiday parties or to put on to feel beautiful during finals season. It can be dressed up with sparkly heels or dressed down with flats and a pair of jeans. Red lipsticks complements all skin types.
The Fashionista featured today worked her red lips into an everyday outfit. She kept her outfit casual with a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans and a stripped white and red crop top (which totally reminds me of the Christmas spirit). She kept her shoes comfortable with black sandals. Her red lipstick makes her outfit pop and she looks sophisticated and ready to take on the world.
Even on the days where you have five minutes to put an outfit together before running out the door, putting on some red lipstick with a casual outfit will make the illusion that you spend a lot of time in the morning getting ready.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: Pick up your favorite red lipstick. For a more matte and defined look, try a liquid lipstick, they are all the rage now. I recommend using a similar color lip liner so the lipstick doesn’t smear. Most importantly, rock your red lipstick with confidence wherever you go.
