BEAUTY BAR: Berry Natural

It’s that exciting, but also kind of sad, time of the year again. Exciting because if you’re like me, you’ve had enough short shorts and sun block and are ready to transition into cozy fall layers. But, the thought of heading back to class is a little bit of a downer. To keep my spirits up, I try to focus on the exciting prospect of new fall fashion and beauty trends. Transitioning your look from summer to fall can be tricky. We can take a lesson from this Fashionista in how to achieve an effortlessly natural makeup look that’s sure to impress on your first day back in class. Of course, her RAD outfit and accessories don’t hurt either.

A dark berry lip is a simple way to show that you’re ready to replace summer brights with fall’s more subdued hues. A bold lip is also a perfect pop of color for this neutral ensemble. This Fashionista keeps the rest of her makeup minimal. It’s always a good idea to have just one focal point in your beauty look. Natural, windswept hair completes this look.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To recreate this look, you need a long lasting lipgloss (I love the sparkling blackberry shade). For a naturally glowing complexion, start with my favorite illuminating primer which has a subtle gold shimmer and then highlight cheekbones with bronzer. Finish off with a few coats of mascara. To add texture and body to your hair, try spraying dry shampoo at your roots.
