BEAUTY BAR: Beach Babe Waves

This week’s post is coming live to you from one of America’s most popular weekend’s get away: Las Vegas, Nevada. I was in Vegas for a bachelorette party. This was the first time I had been to Vegas since I turned 21, and it was everything you Fashionistas and Fashionistos would expect it to be. The day temperatures may have been 115 degrees plus, but the night life was even hotter. This Fashionista, decided to beat the heat, by wearing a long, flowing, maxi dress. One thing I noticed this weekend, was that a lot of girls were trying to stay cool by wearing their hair up in buns, in pony tails or in braids. This Fashionista was still showing off her natural, curly, waves.

She told me that the look is natural for her, but it is definitely easy to replicate. This look also causes more of a breeze around your face when walking around, as opposed to straight hair, which she does sport every once in a while; however, straight hair is heavier and hotter, according to her.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? To recreate this beach wave look, any Fashionista could use a hair curler from Sephora, and create loose or tight curls, depending on how wavy or curly they’d want their hair. I personally, would want mine to lay a little looser, to allow more breeze. If you want looser as well, then just don’t curl the pieces as tight, and use a bigger barrel on your curling wand. Add a little hair spray as well from Sephora, and ta-da! You now have the same “beach babe waves” this Fashionista has.
