ACCESSORIES REPORT: Naturally Gold

Accessories Report

Early morning lectures aren’t fun, especially when you are taking a class that is outside your major with a professor that has a weird accent. This Fashionista, like myself, didn’t hesitate to show up late to class, allowing herself the opportunity to show off her natural colored, simply accessorized and bohemian inspired outfit. I had to stop her after class to take some pictures of it.

She was wearing Missoni print inspired pants, a camel blazer and a white chiffon shirt underneath. A pair of studded black flats are always the right choice for a college day, and she matched them with a shiny leather satchel bag. She kept her jewelry simple, a gold chunky chain necklace, gold ring and watch.

To get a natural bohemian look, you can either take it over the top with the accessories by adding many bracelets to your wrist, like these Isabel Marant beaded ones, or you can rock couple of long necklaces like this one from Chan Luu. You can also follow what this week’s Fashionista did, by keeping it minimal and only adding a few statement items, like the Yves Saint Laurent ring.

For this style you should always keep your accessories in some natural tones and colors. I like gold the most, but beads and bamboo can work it too.

Spotted: Isabel Marant spring 2013 ready to wear runway show was full of bohemian and nature-inspired accessory pieces.
