We started a new semester this week with a not very cool weather, it is dusty and surprisingly rainy sometimes, the color of the sky is kind of depressing, but what’s better than to break the depression than with a pop of color in your outfit? And what’s even better than to transfer your day look into an evening one like this week’s Fashionista did!
I met this Fashinista before she headed out for a night out, and couldn’t resist taking couple of pictures of her outfit; we talked, and she shared a little secret with me: she said she knew that time might get between her and looking her best for the night so she decided to grab some accessories in the morning and save them in her car. Thus, getting ready for an exciting outing did not take more than five minutes. She added a silver glittery belt, changed her rain boots into grey booties, matched them with a clutch instead of a tote bag and put some silver simple jewelry on. It’s all about the accessories!
To follow this Fashionista’s tip, you should keep in mind that you have to pick something stylish, but at the same time you need to make sure you don’t look overdressed for a college day. A flowy simple dress would do it. The accessories are the key part of this outfit. Belts are always the easiest trick to transform the look into a dressy one; this Sophia Kokosalaski crystal belt can bring your outfit to a whole new level! Manolo Blahnik once said, “You put high heels on and you change,” and it is absolutely true; high heels are another way to be party ready–and Charlotte Olympia has the amazing ones. It’s always better to keep jewelry minimal, so one statement accessory, such as these pretty earrings from Kenneth Jay Lane, is enough.
As Fashionista’s, we should all follow this trick; it’s a time saving one!
