My name is Donna Castelblanco and I’m so excited to be with CollegeFashionista for my third semester. During this spring semester I will be blogging for the new weekly WHAT TO WEAR column. Together we will discover chic outfits on Misericordia’s campus for all types of occasions. From breaks to sporting events, we will see styles you can replicate and redesign.
In Jersey we are still in middle of cold wintery days, so my favorite beret and pashmina scarf combo is a must. I love scarves any season but especially during colder weather so I can wear my lovely pashminas from the NYC streets. Believe me, these five dollars beauties are college-budget friendly and last years! Chunky sweaters, florals and pearls are still a huge part of my wardrobe but I’ve added a few more items to my favorite fashion pieces. Currently I am obsessed with wedges. I now have two pairs (black and tan) from Nine West. They are so chic and versatile! I also have been expanding my blazer collection. I can’t wait to see my weekly CollegeFashionistas and what commonalties and differences we have in our closets.
Even though my personal style has not changed much, check out my first and second biographies because some of my fashion inspiration definitely has changed! My new top bloggers are Wendy from Wendy’s Lookbook, Karla from Karla’s Closet and Chiara from The Blonde Salad. A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to meet Karla at her Roman Luxe Trunk Show! Besides my daily blogroll, I habitually read Refinery29, College Fashion, Free People’s Bldg 25 and, of course, CollegeFashionista.
Although I don’t intend on pursuing a fashion career, fashion and all things related are a huge part of my life. Fashion has become even more important since I’ve been a part of the CollegeFashionista family. CollegeFashionista has a new look this semester and I’m excited to be a part of it. Remember to check out my WHAT TO WEAR weekly reports for this spring’s wardrobe advice on all college-related occasions!
