AROUND TOWN: Sarah Summerlin

Starting a fashion blog is not for the faint-hearted individual. You have to not only be stylish, but you have to be creative, persistent and relatable. Fashion blogger and senior public relations major Sarah Summerlin encompasses all of these characteristics and shares her individual style and thoughts on fashion topics on her blog SheChic. When I ran into Sarah she was wearing an outfit that definitely reflected the style of her blog, including a black button-down top that she wore as a wrap style top, white, pleated ankle pants, black sandals, black Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses and a few gold accessories. Sarah believes that “Chic is not money, chic is style,” and I couldn’t agree with that sentiment more.
