One thing I always notice about accessories are the ones people tend to wear everyday. The pieces that really show off their personal style and personality. Whether it be a piece of jewelry or a headband (ala Blair Waldorf), anyone can find that one accessory that defines their personal style. These are a Fashionista/o's staple pieces that they just can’t live without and are never seen without them.
Today’s Fashionista shows off her love of silver with several bangles mixed with a Michael Kors watch and a linked bracelet. The combination of the bracelets show off her personal style which is simplistic with a bit of edge. Her entire look is cohesive and shows off that she has a definite style of her own.
Your everyday pieces don’t have to be limited to jewelry. Around campus I’ve seen many girls wearing hair pieces. From printed head scarves, headbands, bows and ornate clips, anything goes. For a Fashionisto, a hat would be the perfect everyday accessory. With fall in full swing on the east coast, a cool beanie would be perfect.
These staple pieces don’t need to be head turning accessories. Just something that shows off your own personal style. Personal style isn’t what you wear, but how you wear it!
