This Fashionista’s necklace caught my attention because it reminded me of a similar style of leaf earrings I had long-since retired because I deemed them trendy no more. I could not have been more wrong! The on-trend hue of her pants is neutralized by the coppery/gold tones of this pretty, whimsical necklace, making the overall look fashionable yet appropriate for a day on campus. The bohemian jewelry reminiscent of previous seasons, like this leaf and feather necklace, is surprisingly the perfect juxtaposition to today’s bright hues (like her mint-colored pants).
I love mixing old trends with new, and it just so happens that my copper leaf drop-style earrings I mentioned before work really well with (so far) a pink neon top, royal blue pants and an emerald sweater.
