Savannah’s weather can be quite bipolar — one day it will be raining, and the next day it will be a perfect beach day. Well, this day was a good day with a slight breeze, so no coats or heavy jackets needed. This is such a cool and edgy way to layer up during those cold days here in Savannah. I spotted this Fashionista racing to class and asked for a quick snapshot of her and her laced up combat boots. I thought her outfit had so much personality and quirk. I myself have been dying over the graphic tees lately because they all make a bold statement about things or concepts that one has an interest in. It is a great way to find out more about someone. She paired the graphic T-shirt with a floral print skirt and black tights tucked into her combat boots. She made this outfit look preppy and fashionable.

CollegeFashionista: I just have to ask about your shirt, what’s the meaning behind it?
Summer Godshall: It says “Free John Bates” on it and it’s from my favorite TV show Downtown Abbey. I’m such a huge fan of the British show and had to order it online!
CF: How would you describe your style?
SG: Well, I love mixing different styles, not just sticking to one, because I get the freedom of wearing whatever I want. Lately, I’ve been loving edgy things, like boots and black clothes.
CF: I think your outfit says a lot about your personality, do you agree with it?
SG: I’m wearing a T-shirt with my favorite show on it and my floral print skirt that I love, so yeah I think I can agree with it! It says that I can be fun and interesting at the same time.

Urban Outfitters has a wide range of different types of graphic T-shirts for men and women, but I thought this one fit the edgy look. Modcloth has some nice and adorable ones as well. This one from Tilly’s also has the graphic words on it that people love.
