A couple weeks ago I wrote about my love for overalls in my Concert Mania Style Advice of the Week post. I had mentioned all the fun things about wearing overalls and the nostaglic feeling we get. But I completely left out the one of the best parts of these fashions: of how versatile they can be in your wardrobe and, as a college fashion Web site, we are always looking to give you tips on ways to expand the usage of the pieces in our wardrobe.
It was this Fashionista who reminded me how cool the un-hooked look of overalls is and how they can essentially act as a pair of basic denim in your ensemble. From a distance, today's Fashionista appeared to be wearing an extra high pair of skinny denim, but in fact, as I got closer to her, I realized her pants were definitely overalls.
So if you find yourself upset with your impulse overall purchase, fear no more. Throw down the straps and utilize the pants as you would any pair of denim. The lowered straps simply add that unique factor to your outfit and everyone is always looking for that extra unique touch.
