Since my first week writing for CollegeFashionista, I’ve been contributing advice on accessorizing trendy outfits for class, business-casual ensembles for internships and even classy looks for a night out on the town. One important look that seems to have slipped my mind though is accessorizing for that daily dose of cardio! Whether you’re stepping out for a morning jog or hitting the gym for a much needed workout—because let’s face it, we’d rather read that new issue of Harper’s Bazaar during free time than exercise—it’s time to start working out in style.
This Fashionista is rocking a great pair of patterned leggings, a new running accessory from Nike this season. This particular pair comes in a gray and white diamond pattern that fades in and out throughout the whole leg, stitched together with an interesting gray seam all throughout as well. Nike's website, as well as other stores that offer their clothing, carry these patterend leggings in multiple colors, as well as prints. The best thing about them though, is that the eccentric colors make them easy to match with a great pair of running shoes or multiple running shoes in some cases.
Running shoes are a great accessory to have not only for workout sessions but also for long walks to class. They come in different style’s to fit different fitness needs as well as multiple colors to match a variety of personalities. For example, you can find bold colors like purple’s and dark blues, girly color’s such as pink, and some that come with multiple colors and even one’s with glitter—every girls dream come true.
Another great accessory to utilize during workouts is the new Kitsch ponytail holder. They’re great for tying back long locks and come in tons of fun colors. The best thing about them though, is that they don’t leave a crease when you take them out.
Whether you’re prepping for an insane day of fitness or just hoping to trigger your inner Sporty-Spice, These new workout accessories will have you looking fab and fit in no time!
Spotted: This season, Stella McCartney has designed a special line for Adidas stores. She include's a great running legging in her line, which comes in a fun pink and white pattern.
