STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: It’s a “C. Wonder-ful” Thing

Style Advice of the Week

Whether you are entering your freshman year or finishing up your college career, everyone strives to look their best for back to school. Calling all CollegeFashionistas: I have the perfect brand for you! C. Wonder by Chris Burch (Tory Burch's ex-husband) is fairly new but is perfect for all of your back to school wardrobe necessities. The first three words that come to mind when describing this brand's style: preppy, bright and versatile. While the décor of the store may seem to resemble that of Tory Burch boutiques, C. Wonder is gaining their independent recognition as a brand. C. Wonder not only has amazing clothing and accessories but they have cute home décor, too. So if you are shopping for clothes why not pick up some adorable things to decorate your new apartment, too? Another “C. wonderful” thing about this store is their incredible sales. This past summer at their SoHo store, a whole room was marked down up to 75% off with some great basic pieces.

Our CollegeFashionista of the week chooses to spice up her back to school outfit with a few pieces from C Wonder. She is sporting a fun, lime colored sleeveless blouse from our feature store. This top is perfect underneath another bright colored cardigan or to pair with a bright pattern. This Fashionista color blocks by adding a comfortable, purple cardigan from J.Crew. Color blocking does not have to be confined to just a summer trend. Fall is another season to try wearing different color combinations together, too. Her second piece from C. Wonder is her black belt. This skinny calf hair belt comes in a ton of different colors to easily pair with any bottom.

The only present downside of C. Wonder is the limited locations of their stores. Currently, their boutiques mainly reside in the northeast, but do not worry! Their online boutique allows everyone to shop. Additionally, they are slowly but surely moving farther west and south, as Chris Burch opened stores in Atlanta and Newport Beach just a few short weeks ago.

Happy back-to-school shopping, CollegeFashionistas!
