On a humid day in fickle-weathered Boston, I was drawn to this Fashionista’s outfit because of the effortless combination of her dressy and unique top paired with a more bohemian-casual bottom. But what really caught my eye was her choice in accessories. Her antique key necklace adds a unique touch to her outfit, creating a focal piece while complementing her patterned shirt. And while no two keys are alike (even if they fit the same lock), the same rings true to how this added accessory can change any outfit it’s paired with.
This Fashionista’s choice of high-waisted shorts beautifully shows off her legs, and more importantly, her ankles. The anklet is the epitome of summer accessories. Before our bodies are completely covered up from head to toe in preparation for winter, the anklet keeps the carefree, summer vibes in check.
