It’s August, which is about the hottest month of the year. Stiff fabrics like denim are not an option. You want something more freeing and lightweight. So what should you reach for during the final weeks of summer before heading back to school in the fall? The maxi dress of course!
This Fashionista wore a beautiful blue tone maxi dress that highlights her lovely skin tone and pulled back brunette hair. A maxi dress is ideal for the hot summer weather and is perfect for any occasion. In fact, this Fashionista’s dress has a unique pattern detail that at first glance you might not notice. On closer inspection however, the breezy dress actually contains three different patterns. Both the top and bottom portion have a small print. The top part has a white and blue geometric detail, but the bottom is a small floral detail using the same exact colors. The middle section of the dress has larger printed flowers with some hints of pink in the mists of the ocean tones.
Even with all these different prints the overall look of the maxi dress works because all three patterns share the same color, blue. As for accessories, the Fashionista chose a blue tribal print shoulder bag and beige tone sandals. So when in doubt, go for the maxi there is tons of ways to dress it up or down or simply make a statement with the print!
