ALL IN THE DETAILS: Severus Snake

Who says just because it’s spring you’re required to wear all things floral? Not that anything is wrong with that, but it’s time to step away from the typical spring attire. Besides some people don’t like floral print, I know this certainly doesn’t work for me!

I don’t know about you but, where I live on the East Coast, the weather has a mind of its own. One day it could be sunny and 70 degrees, and the next it’s windy, cold or even snowing. It’s safe to say that we won’t be wearing shorts or dresses around here for a while.

Just because the weather is bipolar, doesn’t mean you still can’t dress cute! Take a look at our Fashionista; she has a loose knit top that isn’t too heavy or too light, perfect for this type of in-between weather! This complements her high-waisted jeans that seamlessly come together with the knit top.

Our Fashionista layered the look with a delicate, yet simple arrow gold necklace and accessorized with stone bracelets to coordinate her outfit. Not only does our Fashionista look cute, but effortlessly chic, too! This is an outfit that any college student can re-create and doesn’t involve a lot of work to put together! You could even substitute the knit top for a off-the-shoulder top and exchange the scandals for a pair of Converse if it’s warm enough wherever you might live!

How To: Now, since the weather is so unpredictable that shouldn’t take away from the star of the show: SHOES! If you’re ever feeling uncertain about an outfit because of the weather, it’s always best to stay warm and dress comfortably but go all out on the shoes. This outfit is appropriate enough for class or meeting up with friends. Our Fashionista’s lace-up sandals with the snake print not only make the outfit stand out, but are also a fashion staple piece for spring attire.
