ALL IN THE DETAILS: Rainbow Brite

Hi Fashionistas! With all of this strange weather in the Northeast, especially after the massive winter blizzard Jonas, it is apparent the winter cold has unfortunately arrived and is here to stay. With all of the gray and winter cold, it is easy to get down in the dumps, but that is nothing a pop of color can’t fix! Colors, especially bright colors, have always been a source of comfort for me during these drab winter months. With the reappearance of ’90s fashion accessories such as colorful chokers and dyed hair, it is easy to add a pop of color to your wardrobe!

This Fashionista’s funky look shows how there can never be too much color in your life. Her metallic printed dress works fabulously underneath her pale pink fuzzy sweater which happens to match her two-toned pastel hair. So fun! She ties the outfit together with a ’90s-inspired rainbow choker paired with a simple beaded choker underneath. She topped of her look with, one of my personal favorite trends, a gold faux septum ring, which makes this eye-catching outfit stand out in all the right ways. On the bottom, she rocks high socks paired with leopard booties to keep her toes warm and fashionable in all of the snow.

How To: If you are going to wear a lot of color like this Fashionista did, pair brighter accessories with more pastel-toned pieces in the rest of your outfit. This will allow you to stand out without looking totally crazy. Layering necklaces is a great way to make jewelry pop. If you are going to layer necklaces choose ones that are not too chunky or heavy. Delicate necklaces will add sparkle to an outfit without being overwhelming.
