ALL IN THE DETAILS: Lost in Time

We live in the 21st century. This is the age where we can FaceTime people across the world, and a time when you’re more likely to just FaceTime someone right next to you. We can literally find out almost anything we want through the Internet, which is actually a very hard concept to grasp. If that’s not crazy enough, our movements are almost always being tracked by the very apps in our pockets! Now, I’m not trying to scare you, but I want you to understand how everything created in the last 20 or so years has made everything invented prior antiquated. However, even though we don’t need some of these antiquated things we still can use them. When I say this, I’m most specifically talking about watches. You probably own at least one along with everyone else.

This Fashionista is wearing a watch that I absolutely love. It’s small, dainty, simple and stylish! It adds a lot of character to this outfit even though it’s more likely being used for style rather than function. I think it can make you look important, smart and serious. At some point, the KORS Michael Kors watches were all the rage. He essentially brought the accessory back from the brink of extinction from the female fashion world. Those types are perfect for dramatic outfits that are girly and require a lot of jewelry. However, if you want something simple for a casual outfit you should look at this one from American Apparel. You can wear this with any pair of jeans and T-shirt to add something more to a simple outfit. Or you can go for a different type of watch like this one form Urban Outfitters paired with a dressy skirt and blouse. However you want to wear it, don’t forget what a watch can add to any outfit!

How To: To get this Fashionista’s look, start off by getting a top from H&M. Then you can get a similar pair of shorts from Forever 21. Lastly, you can get a pair of TOMSs shoes from their website!
