The semester is coming to an end and students here at Hampton University are finalizing their plans for summer. With the spring weather in full swing everyone has been in a pleasant mood. Long gone are the harsh winter days and in comes the cool spring nights. It is possible for Fashionistos to look put together while still rocking layers this spring. How you ask? By adding a few of their favorites to their outfit of choice.
This Fashionisto mixed an amazing T-shirt with a ton of fabrics and prints that evolved into a cool spring look for guys to duplicate. He wore a burgundy T-shirt that included the faces of many prominent black men who were known as writers in history. I thought this was cool way for him to pay homage in a small way to those who came before us. He added a light wash denim jacket to add warmth as the sun was soon setting. Following that, he wore cameo print jogger pants, for comfort. He accessorized with small bracelets and a black laptop case.Finishing off his look he wore stripe sky blue and navy blue socks with slip on boat shoes.
How To: It takes nothing for Fashionistos to pull of a successful layer spring look. First, pick a unique T-shirt that has substance to it. Band T-shirts are nice, but T-shirts that highlight historical figures or art pieces are what add more worth to the overall look. Following that, pick a out a denim jacket or a parka to stay warm during chilled spring nights. Add a pair of boat shoes or loafers with nifty socks and you have the perfect spring layered look.
