ALL IN THE DETAILS: Lacey Blues and Beads

While it is winter here in Tuscaloosa, we don’t get too many days of those below freezing temperatures. It has been low 50-60s here since I got back from Christmas break, but hey, I’m not complaining about that!

This Fashionista is embracing this spring-like weather with an adorable detailed outfit. It’s a little on the dressy side, but could easily be transformed into a more casual outfit by taking the necklace off and throwing on a pair of lace-up sandals. Her outfit is perfect for a class presentation or a night out with your girls.

The romper she is wearing is a hand-me-down she got a few years ago from her sister, but I think we can all admit it’s still in style. I absolutely love all the lace detail. Lace is a very feminine style that can look classy or casual. She paired it with a light-weight knit cardigan and topped it off with lace-up booties and a beaded necklace.

The lace detail reminds me of that doily pattern. This romper has an overlay on the top, which I personally love because it can help hide some unwanted curves, with the doily lace detail found on the bottom of the overlay. It also has the doily lace around the thighs on the bottom. Again, I love details around the thigh to add a little flair and not have just a straight seam.

This Fashionista always gets compliments on her outfits anytime she’s out or going to class! Try adding some feminine lace in your wardrobe this spring for an easy go-to outfit.
