ALL IN THE DETAILS: Lace-Up for Spring

Now that the cold winter weather is slowly disappearing, the warm spring weather is coming. This is the time to pull all your spring clothes to the front of your closet and get rid of all your heavy winter sweaters. Spring is the time to wear some of the returning summer styles and try some new combinations that could potentially become a hit. What I love about spring is that you can mix and match so many pieces. Lace-up pieces are the new trend that became popular in the winter. But don’t you worry, they will for sure make an appearance in the spring too (yay)!

This Fashionista wore a blush-colored, short sleeve T-shirt dress from Forever 21, perfect for a nice day with a breeze. Take notice of the lace-up along the top of the dress, bringing a new winter style to the next season. She then added an olive green, army type jacket from Free People, along with open-toed nude booties from Francesca’s. The booties even have the lace-up detail, pulling the entire outfit together and adding that new style of the look. Since the day was sunny, wearing a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses was a nice touch, along with some other accessories. This Fashionista wore a pearl choker along with her Tory Burch and David Yurman bracelets. Accessorizing is always a must, especially for the springtime (no joke, it truly is).

Spring is a nice season because you can play around with what kind of styles fit your personality. After all, spring is when we begin to show more skin (oh, scandalous!) and stop wearing jeans, sweaters, and booties. Open-toed shoes are now calling your name from the back of your closet, anxiously waiting for the arrival on a nice sunny day. Spring is the time to show off your inner style that has been wanting to break out since last year but had to wait the entire winter to do so. Lace-up pieces are the way to go and will show off your alluring and creative side. Enjoy spring, Fashionistas, because it won’t last long.
