ALL IN THE DETAILS: It’s the Little Things

Go big, or go home just isn’t the answer sometimes when it comes to fashion. Most often then not, the best outfits are the ones that are simplest. Spring is fast approaching so that means pastels, floral patterns and less clothing are going to be upon us. But, as of this present moment we are left in this awkward warmer winter. Leaving many people confused as to what to wear. But I believe that the best way to tackle this transition head on is to play up your basic outfits with accessories you may already own.

For example, this Fashionista takes a simple burnt orange long sleeve and black ripped jeans, and pairs them with simple pieces that make her outfit look like she put more time into it than she probably really did. Starting from the head down, the Fashionista uses a dainty necklace, rose gold watch and gold ring to help add a girlish touch to her what was basic T-shirt and jeans outfit. My favorite part of the outfit was hands down the shoes! They added a nice pop without being over the top. This Fashionista shows us how you can mix dainty spring jewelry with winter colored clothes for a nice every day transition look.

How To: Are you unsure of what statement piece to pair with your outfit? Try just changing your shoes! It’s amazing how much shoes can change up your outfit. One of my go-to outfits is a simple all black pant and shirt with either a brown or multi-colored shoe depending on how subtle or dramatic I want to go that day.
