The snow has melted, birds are chirping and the temperature just keeps climbing. This can only mean one thing… summer! That’s right Fashionistas, summer is here so it’s time to store away those chunky scarves and start stocking up on new accessories. I saw this hippie goddess shopping at a boutique.
Her simple cotton T-shirt is something every girl needs in at least five colors. This Fashionista tied hers up on the side to add some sass to a simple piece. The closer I got, the more I realized that this girl is not afraid to accessorize. Her flower headband adds something special to this outfit. This accessory is big enough to make a statement but subtle enough to still feel comfortable running to different places throughout the day.
I absolutely love the layered necklace look she is sporting. A short and long necklace combo can add a lot of dimension to an outfit. My favorite part of this look has to be her Bourbon and Bowties bangles—I mean do they say wow, or what?! She added a few Alex and Ani bracelets to make her look even more layered. Test out different colors and shapes to make the layered jewelry look your own. This Fashionista strengthens my belief that you should always add one more accessory before walking out the door.
