ALL IN THE DETAILS: Golden Boy

Although a golden child is typically referred to as the newest teeny-bopper that has everything handed to them in life, including his or her grandparents inheritance, it can mean so much more in terms of this Fashonisto’s outfit. He might not be the Nate Archibald of Manhattan, but he does know the sophistication and classic look of an accent color. Instead of watching Gossip Girl, this Fashionisto admitted to idolizing Uncle Jesse from Full House. To no surprise, Full House was set in San Francisco, the same place that Levi Strauss created a legendary jean in 1890 by completing each pair with golden rivets.

This Fashionisto’s outfit shows how simple it is to make a cohesive outfit by simply adding a constant accent color. Jeans, a button-down and sneakers have never looked so trendy. To no surprise, his black 501’s originated in the same city as the Golden Gate Bridge itself! His simple leather belt with a gold buckle only helps to accentuate the golden touch even more. Without over doing it, this Fashinisto completes his outfit head-to-toe by having one more pop of gold on the stamp of his Superstar adidias sneakers. The consistency of black and white throughout his outfit is not only simple, but easy enough for anyone to accomplish. Although this Fashionisto chose the color of gold as his accent color, this outfit could be repeated by using any color of your choice. But, being a proud Levi’s employee, I always recommend the classic look and quality of a 501 denim jean!

How To: Throw on a pair of jeans and almost any shirt but don’t forget to add an accent color to keep it up to date. A belt, a pair of heels or any colored handbag will work for you Fashionistas!
