ALL IN THE DETAILS: Fur-real?

Walking around my university campus this Fashionista instantly stood out. Her bold, eye-catching fur coat makes a daring statement adding touch of luxury to her outfit. She used an all-black base to let the coat really speak for itself. It may be summer now but let’s face it the nights can still be chilly so for those British summer nights adding this item to your wardrobe is a perfect addition to a fashion-forward wardrobe.

Fur has always been a very controversial topic throughout the fashion industry and this year has been no different. Faux fur has appeared both on and off the catwalks creating a lot of buzz in the fashion industry. Newly established label Shrimps, created by Hannah Weiland, provides the fashion world with brightly colored crazy designs that you can’t help but feel “happy” in. Even anti-fur campaigner Stella Mcartney has joined in on the action. Her fur-free fur overcoats created quite a stir at Paris Fashion Week in March 2015. Pelted footwear is a key trend championed the likes of Gucci and Fendi for fall 2015, suggesting that adding a small furry addition to your wardrobe is perfect to change your style to full Fashionista material.

This Fashionista’s coat is from Forever 21 and paired with black Joni jeans from Topshop along with a black knitted polo neck sweater from New Look. Her shoes are pretty impressive too! These two-tone ultra-luxurious snake print loafers from Russell and Bromley stand out perfectly and really complement the color of the fur. If your feeling extra daring add this holographic clutch bag from Urban Outfitters like this Fashionista did.

How To: Why not add a fury staple like this scarf from ASOS or go crazy and invest in these printed leather booties from Zara?
