ALL IN THE DETAILS: Flower Power

As I passed my best friend on the street last week before class, I knew I had to stop her in her tracks. Every time I see this Fashionista, she always has her personality expressed in all of her outfits, but I was OBSESSED with this specific outfit of hers! All of her accessories really tied this look together making it perfect for the fall season.

The floral pattern on her Urban Outfitters romper is what immediately caught my eye on the street. The navy and orange colors contrast each other so perfectly, and bring out the warm and chilly parts of fall. The part of her romper that distinguishes her from other girls in rompers would be her bell sleeves and the off-the-shoulder style. Adding these variations in style along with fun patterns that pop will allow you to stand out in the crowd full of people.

Another staple that makes this look are her gray, over-the-knee boots. I’ve been noticing on campus that gray and black have been the most popular colors in this style of boot, and have been popping up more frequently as we move further into the fall season and into winter. What I love specifically about this Fashionista’s boots is how they lace up in the back. This unique detail is what distinguishes her outfit from all other similar looks. This specific pair of boots can be found online or in-stores at DSW as well as other department stores like Nordstrom’s or Bloomingdales.

The final detail of this look that I am utterly obsessed with is her dainty pearl choker. As you all are probably aware, chokers are 100 percent back in style. I love this choker because it allows you to still wear the choker style of necklace without it being the typical dark thick suede/leather choker that most people think of when they think of chokers. Many of these unique style of chokers can be found online at websites like Etsy and different boutiques.
